About
Making climbing accessible to all
The UK Paraclimbing Collective is a charity that was set up and runs entirely voluntarily by a group of paraclimbers who feel passionate about improving access to rock climbing. Whether we have a mental or physical health condition, a learning disability, sensory difference, are neurodivergent, or have another disability or condition, we want to show that climbing is for everybody.
Our goal is to bring the wonderful world of paraclimbing to as many people as possible, in a fun, safe, accepting, inclusive and disability-aware space. We aim to break down some of the barriers that exist for disabled people in accessing our sport, whether that be practical, financial, social, or anything else.

We welcome climbers of all abilities, including everybody from total beginners to members of the GB paraclimbing team! Details of our upcoming socials and other events can be found on our events page, or get in touch here if you would like any more help or information. We also have a discord for the UKPC community, please contact us for details on how to be added!

What people think of our socials
The socials have really been the light in the middle of some dark weeks for me. I always leave feeling a sense of support and community. I can’t really put into words how important they’ve been to me! I particularly appreciate the name and pronoun stickers. THANK YOU !!!
I have really enjoyed going to the Inclusive Paraclimbing socials. It's really great to have a group of like-minded individuals to climb with, who don't put any pressure on you to climb or be a certain way. The facilitators are amazing, and make everybody feel welcome, whether they are new to the socials or have been going for ages. For me the level of acceptance and encouragement from the group are what makes climbing so enjoyable and I would recommend these socials to everyone!
